Karen Hi Jeff I like the black background. My favourite is number 2, but maybe eliminate the swoop in of RSS Library. You already have enough movement with the animation. I think this will appeal to a digital audience.
I'm a sucker for minimalist design - I like the last design with the white typeface and black background. It also adds a little mystery in that I want to go check it out and see what it's about. It says: "tell me more!"
